Ian trained in Tax at Menzies in the mid 1990’s and has specialised in private client tax since then. He has worked with a variety of small and larger firms in London and Surrey/Hampshire, more recently with Sheen Stickland and Menzies. He has extensive experience dealing with high and ultra-high net worth individuals, property owners, sole traders, owner managed businesses, family groups and non UK domiciled clients.
Ian’s specialist knowledge areas include tax compliance, preparing complex tax returns, and providing tax planning advice to individuals, families and trusts to optimise their tax positions. This has involved advice regarding inheritance tax planning, asset protection, trusts, residency issues, and profit extraction from businesses.
When he is not in the office, Ian is usually found on the golf course, walking the family Labrador or just possibly indulging his passion for pub quiz’s.
