Who we are
Our hand-picked team is small but perfectly formed. We are a closely knit unit with over fifty years of private client tax experience. We don’t believe in the pyramid approach to working with clients; our service is not just Partner-led but the Partners do nearly all the work themselves rather than mentor and train an army of more junior staff, as if often the case in larger practices.
There are three client facing Partners whom you can meet below and in person whenever you wish. Our office and processes are coordinated and expertly run by our Operations Director.
Tim Page
Managing Partner
After qualifying as a Chartered Tax Adviser with KPMG in Kent in 1992, Tim moved to their London office and worked with a number of prestigious clients. In 1996 he left KPMG to join Watson Wyatt, another global consulting business. Tim was promoted to Tax Partner at Watson Wyatt in 1998 and was in charge of the tax and corporate finance work for Watson Wyatt in their European Region.
He set up Page Tax Consulting in 2005 after advising on the merger of Watson Wyatt's European and North American businesses. Tim then took a position as head of the private client practice at Creaseys (a top 100 firm of Chartered Accountants) for two years before reforming Page Tax Consulting in 2010.
Tim’s special areas of knowledge include partnership tax, inheritance tax and the link between personal tax planning and wealth management.
Outside of work Tim enjoys many sporting activities. In the summer he plays golf as often as possible (subject to client demand of course). After 30 years practice, he still struggles to find the fairway but enjoys the challenge. In the winter months, Tim will travel all over the country to watch his beloved Exeter City, as long as it’s not too cold and they are not in the relegation zone.

During his time with the firm, he rose internally within the team, becoming responsible for the daily tax affairs of the Partners of the firm.
In 2005, Ian became a Partner in Page Tax Consulting and subsequently joined Creaseys in 2008. In February 2011, Ian re-joined Tim at Page Tax Consulting, showing commendable loyalty to his clients. Ian continues to work on many of the same clients he has looked after since 1998.
